It was the first time for me to organise an International Mini-Conference, thank you so much for your encouragement and for coming to the gathering of former ISA PhD Lab participants (http://www.isa-sociology.org/isa_lab.htm; http://www.isa-sociology.org/list-of-isa-laboratories.htm). I personally want to thank Prof. Yoshimichi Sato (Tohoku Uni), Prof. Kazuo Misumi (Kyushu Uni), Prof. Robert van Krieken (Sydney Uni), Prof. Koichi Hasegawa (Tohoku Uni), Prof. Vineeta Sinha (National University of Singapore), and Prof. Catriona Elder (Sydney Uni) for their outstanding support and assistance in making our forum such a resounding success. I would also like to extend a special thanks to my colleague David Macro from Utrecht University for his generous help and for chairing the morning session. Though some of our invited guests did not show up for various reasons, I hope our ways will cross at forthcoming conferences soon. As Marta Kolczynska suggested, we should definitely make a mini-ISA-follow-up with Katherine in August during ASA Annual Meeting. See you soon in San Francisco, Katherine!
